I am finding the Pro course very good indeed.  Alongside working through the reading list from the Intro course, I am gaining such depth of understanding about how astrology works, how to read each part of the chart, and gaining so much in terms of my own personal development.  We are only just finishing learning about the Ascendant and I have had many 'aha' moments about my life and how I deal with things etc.

It has helped me immensely and given me more confidence to discuss astrology with people and help them gain a better understanding of their own charts.  Many people have said to me that they have a much greater understanding of astrology from one conversation (where I have shared what I have learned so far) than what the have understood from the 'sun sign astrology' they have encountered in the past.  It is a joy to share the wonderful insights and understandings we learn on a Sunday morning. ‘

After completing the fascinating journey of David's Introductory Astrology course, I found myself with endless questions and a desire to continue my exploration of astrology on a deeper level. So I jumped at the chance to join his first on-line Pro course.

Through a detailed, comprehensive examination of each planet and house round all the signs, the students begin to build their own dynamic astrological vocabulary, and to develop a skill at reading a chart that could never be learnt from books.

A particular feature of this course is the thorough analysis of the students' own charts. Not only does this bring the theory to life, but it illuminates the nature of each topic from within, providing a first-hand description of how it feels to actually live with for example Venus in Leo or Scorpio on the Ascendant. Thus, not only is one deepening one's own self-knowledge and understanding, but also a doorway is opened into the inner self of another, so one can experience the chart subjectively from the inside.

Where a sign is not represented within the class, case studies of both famous people, and (anonymously) family and friends, ensure that the theoretical framework taught never remains just an academic exercise.
With an interest in mythology, psychology, esotericism and alchemy, I had already spent over 30 years studying other systems, such as tarot and qabalah. At only a small way along the path of this course, I have found what I am learning to be an invaluable part of a holistic framework for self-transformation, and one that significantly broadens and deepens my understanding of the human experience within the cosmos, and the nature of being.
